1. I NEED MILK!!! every night before i sleep…i generally prefer low fat milk but full cream is ok too…but best if its 500mls at a go….slurp!!
2. Postcards. U'll see me buying them overseas all the time at every place, like to use them to brighten up my album…the only time i didnt get them was during the Korean trip…the country is just lacking in them…and if they do have it, they just look simply hideous…
3. Subways. I love and make a point to take other countries' subways…gives u a good feel of the people and the system. The London Tube is just plain small and cute, while the Parisian one has this lever that u must unlock for the train door to open but oh god the dirty stations, and the HongKong one is really quiet but feels strangely like a floating coffin with irritating announcements in so many languages thats much worse than ours….I do like the Seoul's one though, simple and effective heh….
4. Souvenir. I must get one souvenir from each place i visit…and i cheat too by asking my parents to get something for me when they're overseas heh. Sweden came in the form of a stuffed toy duckling that sparked off this buying frenzy from everyone else in the group. Sydney's was a hand-painted small bowl off the city skyline that i got from the arts market. and my mum got me a cute foxy keychain from tokyo that my niece will always come to get when she visits…hee…
5. The Airline Pillow. this is one that developed only during the last trip..but its a great idea to take the airline pillow and use it for the rest of the trip..when u're on long distance train or bus trips…very helpful…u can throw it away after the trip, or use it at home for back support:)….just dont look to suspicious or guilty when u pass the customs, esp when u see the sign "Do You Have Anything To Declare?"
6. i have a habit of clearing off my money before i come back. i finished off my last A$5 at the Melbourne Airport on a miniature Grand Marnier. Alas, i couldnt do that for the prev Korean trip cos there's nothing to buy there! had so much money left!!!
7. i cant be bothered to check my mail during tours…u're travelling! why worry about home stuff!
8. calling my parents involves a trip down to a public phone and dialing this long list of numbers (ICC) to get through, and it happens once every 4-5 days…looks like a classic Singtel moment…hope i dont get mugged during the spanish trip though…
9. Photos. i take so many of them! i had 8 rolls of film from my 8 days Korean trip! so i hope my fellow travellers wont get irritated from my constant "take for me!"…and after all…i'm known to take good photos with fantastic angles! yups:)…but i take sensible photos hor…i had a fren who noticed her own shadow in the water and went "ooooh! my shadow!!" and proceeded to take a photo of it. DUH!
10. Comfort Food. Is. Very. Important. To. Me. Macdonald's or any other fast food. Dunkin Donuts. Milk (or course). Ice cream, Gelato, chocolate…airline food! haha….

[...] While travelling, some people are plain weird, while some, like myself, are just plain particular, or if you’re fond of the other word, a-n-a-l. [...]
